The Hyundai Creta Electric will offer two battery options: a 42 kWh pack with an ARAI-certified range of 390 km and a larger 51.4 kWh pack delivering up to 473 km on a single charge. Although the motor output has yet to be disclosed, the Creta Electric can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds. The vehicle supports DC fast charging, enabling a 10-80% charge in just 58 minutes. For home charging, the Creta Electric comes equipped with an 11 kW AC charger, allowing the battery to charge from 10 to 100% in approximately four hours. With these advanced powertrain features and fast-charging capabilities, the Creta Electric aims to offer an efficient and convenient driving experience for both city commutes and longer journeys.
Price and Competitors:
The Hyundai Creta Electric is likely to start around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with the Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, and MG ZS EV.
