Release of Admit Cards
The admit cards for the RAS Preliminary Examination 2025 will be available starting from January 30th, 2025 at 12:00 PM. You will be able to download your admit card directly from the official RPSC website. Make sure to check the official portal for any updates regarding the download link.
Exam Details
The RAS Prelims exam will be held on February 2nd, 2025. The exam will take place from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at various centers across Rajasthan. Ensure that you arrive at the exam center between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM, as entry will be allowed only within this one-hour window. Make sure to carry your admit card, and keep in mind that biometric verification and photo capturing will be part of the entry process.
Examination Centers
The exam will be held at multiple centers in Rajasthan. For instance, Bikaner will host exams at 61 centers, and Shri Ganganagar will have 28,000 candidates. Jaipur is expected to have around 91,000 candidates across 240 centers. Always check the exam city and center mentioned on your admit card to avoid any confusion.
Attendance and Verification
At the exam center, you will be required to give a sample of your handwriting as well as place your thumb impression on the attendance sheet. Your photograph will also be printed on the attendance sheet. It is mandatory to sign and provide your thumbprint. Any failure to comply may result in disqualification.
OMR Sheet and Negative Marking
Candidates will need to carry a copy of the OMR sheet for reference. The exam will include a negative marking system where 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Additionally, if you choose an extra or incorrect option, marks will be deducted. Please review your answers carefully to avoid unnecessary penalties.
Precautions and Restrictions
Make sure to wear simple clothing to the exam center. Avoid wearing clothes with large buttons or anything that might disrupt the security checks. The RPSC has also advised against wearing any formal or attire with large prints. Ensure that your photo on the admit card and other documents are clear and up-to-date. The RPSC will also perform data verification and biometric checks at the entry points, and any discrepancy in your details or photograph could lead to disqualification.
Answer Key and Result
The answer key for the RAS Prelims exam will be released on the same day, February 2nd. The final result is expected to be announced by February 20th. Be sure to check the official RPSC website for updates on the answer key and final results.
